Alfredo Jaar does it again. Now at the 55th Venice Biennale, the artist, at the Chile Pavilion critizice the Biennal itself. Some of the most exciting work displayed there comes from Latin America; Jaar’s poetic installation invites to rethink the Biennal model again. As he puts it: this national pavilions “have lost their meaning in the fluidity of today’s culture”.
